Today when I picked the boys up from school, Mrs. McClellan said she had some news for me. She told me that when the boys got to school in the morning, Michael noticed that David's name was written on the board to be the helping hand for that day. Michael was so excited, he told Mrs. McClellan that it must mean that on Tuesday it would be Michael's turn to be the helping hand!
Helping hand is a big deal to all of the kids. The helping hand gets to hold the flag for the pledge, they get to update the calendar and get to be the line leader. David was really proud of himself.
